Objective

  • Web application architecting and development.
  • Long term life goal is to help build internet community: people reaching out to other people online, making friends, getting to know each other, etc. I want to help develop Adventist community that shares the Gospel through personal online contact, either by improving existing communities, networking together existing ones, or by starting new ones.
  • Short term (next few year) goals are to: a) find a full time position that is related in some way with my long term goal of building Adventist community, or b) network together with other people and institutions who have similar interests and goals, work on my own community projects, and find contract web development jobs of any kind to support myself.

  • 1998-present: Wrote the "Web Bible" online Bible reading program, http://www.tagnet.org/bible/
  • 1996-present: Started AdventChat community, http://www.adventchat.net/
  • 1995-2005: Was a volunteer for TAGnet for 10 years before working there, http://www.tagnet.org/
  • Was a board member, operating committee member, vice president, and an officer of TAGnet.
  • 1985-present: Computer whiz and programmer as a hobby for 24 years, including 10 years before working in the field.
  • Became a certified developer for Commodore-Amiga.
  • Have been audio-video technician at 2 churches, 2 small video studios, and 1 school.
